Manuel Giesen studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe. His main areas of study were automotive engineering, internal combustion engines, and fluid dynamics. He completed his studies with a diploma thesis on the series overhaul of brake components in 2002.
After his studies, Manuel Giesen worked for more than ten years as a development engineer, project manager, and patent officer in the automotive and automotive supplier industry, including 6 years in the patent department of a large German automotive supplier. During this time, he focused on the development of fuel injection systems and exhaust gas aftertreatment.
Robert J. Miller

Robert J. Miller studied civil engineering at the University of Maryland. He has been working as a patent consultant and research specialist for more than three decades and has extensive experience in guiding inventors through the entire patent process.
